The tools we will need are:

8 key (socket or socket).
Six-pointed star wrench (Torx T20 type).

The filter is located closer to the engine partition, almost in the center.

First you need to remove the plastic cover, due to which the filter is not visible. A pipe is connected to the filter housing itself. Remove the housing.

Next, you will need to remove the pipe itself, made of corrugated material.

Then reinstall all parts in reverse order of installation.

For vehicles up to 2013, the filter housing is a box with a lid at the very top of the engine. The filter for such engines is made in the form of a ring; it is also sold in almost every car store.

To replace such an element, you only need a regular Phillips screwdriver. Using it, you need to unscrew the screws of the filter housing cover, then remove the top cover. Set the cover aside; if the inside becomes dirty, wipe the cover with a rag away from the hood. On Largus produced after 2012, under the hood there will be an air filter with a ribbed cover surface. The lid does not have any inscriptions.

We perform step-by-step actions:

We find the cover fastenings: two front screws and two self-tapping screws. Unscrew the screws with a key “8”, unscrew the screws with a Torx T20 screwdriver.
The bottom of the filter housing is secured with two plastic latches in the form of a tongue. We bend them from below and remove the box, bringing it towards ourselves.
Nothing holds the filter element.

We take out the old rectangular consumable and clean the seat from dirt.

Insert a new filter element.
We return the air filter to its place, snap the tabs and screw in the fasteners.

We perform further steps in reverse order: fix the housing with screws, install the muffler, attach the pipes and connect the VUT pipe.

Replacing the air filter on Lada Largus 16 valves.

On a K4M engine with 16 valves, instead of the filter element of the standard air filter, you can install a zero filter. Such filters can be reusable.

There is another alternative option - install a chandelier filter. There are two possible installation methods:
