But we must understand that miracles do not happen. There are, however, some highlights. For example, the exterior. It seems to be out of time and fashion, since it has long been outdated. But at the same time, this car maintains anonymity - enough to drive through and be unnoticed. Of course, it’s hardly possible to marvel at the elegance of the Lada, but at least boys don’t throw stones at it and dogs don’t bark at it...

The massive rear and small rear (very practical) pieces of glass clearly tell me that I have my own specific style, pardon the word, bourgeois. The spartan interior design is slightly diluted by the ridiculous upholstery with pretensions to modernity. But the sun visors are a real kitsch. Of course, the build quality leaves much to be desired - take the same gaps of body elements and glass seals. But the car is painted well.

This is how cars were equipped probably 20 years ago. There is no talk of power steering, power windows, ABS or airbags at all. But the steering wheel is height-adjustable, there is a tachometer, a sunroof, a ventilation system (unfortunately more noisy than effective), remote trunk opening, and headrests front and rear. And, which is very nice, an immobilizer.

On the road, the engine exhibits fairly smooth performance. The car accelerates well, and the cruising speed far exceeds the permissible limits. True, vibrations, loud noise and the gluttony of the engine are annoying. During testing, the average fuel consumption was 8.3 liters. The 5-speed gearbox is also good. But the continuously vibrating and twitching lever lets me down. It appears to be connected directly to the crankshaft...

This car clearly lacks chassis rigidity and suspension selectivity. On rough roads the car exhibits an excessively bouncy character. True, in this way we fall within the framework of a regular test designed for machines for the whole world. But the Lada 110 has no claims - neither sporting, nor aesthetic, nor social. An outdated, but still rational machine in its own way. For its price, it has a place in the market.”
