Hello to all readers, while surfing the Internet, I came across a new type of armrest from the Alamar company, for Largus with a box, exactly what I wanted all this time, by the way, I already had an Alamar brand, only without the box.

During the repair, I went around looking for spare parts for the chassis and came across the same armrest in one of the stores in our city, and the price wasn’t that much more expensive than in the online store.

And now May 7th is a holiday and I receive a gift from my beloved, this particular armrest, well, of course I hinted at it to her)

The quality is good, the box for small items is wide and convenient, it doesn’t interfere with fastening the belt, the fastening is the same as on the old one, you just had to remove the old one and put in a new one, of course there was no convenience during installation, since everything is made there and everything is not convenient for your fingers hold and twist at the same time.

I think those who are thinking about buying or not, I will definitely say that it is worth it!

For comfortable control, only one thing was missing - an armrest. I’ll say right away that I don’t like colorful things and breeding grounds for garbage, so I immediately threw the ashtray out of the car and installed an armrest without a bar. There is, however, a compartment for a stash, but no one will talk about that, shh! In theory, installation takes about five minutes... It took me about an hour. 5 minutes - study the instructions. 10 minutes - searching for gloves and trying to unfasten the upholstery tensioner latch. 1 minute - searching for a hole for a bolt. 7 minutes - trying to get the fallen nut. 2 minutes - search for the second nut. 40 minutes - search for the second key for 13.5 minutes tightening the nut and bolt securing the armrest.

If you avoid my mistakes, you can significantly reduce the installation.

The armrest of Photo 1 came with instructions with a dire warning: Be careful! It is advisable to carry out installation with gloves, because... the frame has burrs and sharp edges from the stamp.

Believing this and not finding the gloves, I tried to remove the upholstery tensioner latch under the front edge of the seat. It is made like an awning tensioner, if anyone has seen it. Roughly speaking, a plastic plate in the form of a hook pulls the seat upholstery and clings to the groove with force. To shoot this hook, you need to reduce the force and remove it from the groove. I tried for about ten minutes, but was frightened by the warning about sharp edges and, not finding gloves, decided that I could do without removing the latter. Lifting up the edge of the upholstery, I discovered that the holes in the seat pillar were already visible. Therefore, combining the bolt with the second hole is quite possible. If it were me, I would release the parking brake immediately, and not after ten minutes Photo 2. Having threaded the armrest bolt through the second hole, I felt it under the seat Photo 3. This is not easy to do, because the elevator spring really interferes with the process. Therefore, the first attempt to attach the nut ended in failure. The nut fell into the seat slide and remains there to this day; I could not find it. I had to take another one. The second attempt was more successful. However, it was not possible to tighten it, and when the bolt rotated, the nut turned. Then I remembered an old story told to me by an elderly woman who was trying to catch a mouse: “I put a piece of bread under a glass, and put the edge on the patch (that’s what money used to be). I'm sitting, knitting. I hear - Clap! I look - a mouse under a glass is gnawing on a bread crumb. She gnawed and gnawed, looking in different directions - but there was nothing to wash it down with. So am I. I looked in different directions, but there was no second key to thirteen. This was perhaps the only serious difficulty. Having fixed the nut Photo 4 with a wrench and tightened the bolt Photo 5, I got the result Photos 6, 7, 8. I recommend it.
