Playing with colors: getting to know the LADA Largus Cross Black Edition » Official LADA Largus
At the anniversary of AVTOVAZ they showed a new version of the Russian minivan. The official Lada Club looked into the distinctive features of the special version prepared for the car of the year.
Style to the masses
Special versions of Russian cars are gradually gaining popularity. The trend set by the LADA Priora sedan gradually reached models from the new Vesta and XRAY line. Now the time has come for cars that have gained popularity among the people. In our case, we are talking about LADA Largus, and to be even more specific, about the Cross version. We noticed a special minivan at an exhibition near the plant management building, which was organized in honor of the 50th anniversary. The representative of the Lada Club could not pass by this example and took several photographs.
Playing with colors
You can identify a special Largus by several features inherent in the Black Edition versions. This includes a black roof, wheels and unpainted side mirrors. It’s not easy to notice these details right away, because in the Cross version they merge with the unpainted bumpers and linings on the body. Whether this is a plus or a minus is a matter of taste, but, in our opinion, it is the Largus Cross version that is ideal for the Black Edition special series. The number of unpainted elements in the “off-road” Largus is greater than in other models and the presence of additional black parts logically complements the overall picture. For example, despite its increased ground clearance, the car does not look as high as regular Largus Cross. The whole secret is in the dark roof, against which the roof rails are no longer so noticeable. In addition, due to the narrower space of the painted part of the body, from the side the car looks sportier than its counterparts. Black wheels and dark tires visually blend with the protective plastic and the car does not seem so tall. This play with color allows the special version of the Cross to hide its visual shortcomings of being “tall” and highlight the features of the protective black body kit on the bottom and the dark roof on top.
The interior is familiar to everyone
We were unable to find any new decorative elements in the salon. All the same interior decoration with orange inserts on the dashboard, door cards and seats of LADA Largus. Standard design for Largus Cross versions, which will no longer surprise the keen eyes of representatives of the official Lada Club.
