Ferodo brake pads reviews

Basil. Ford Mondeo. 1996. Changed brake discs and pads, all Ferodo. I've driven 2 thousand km so far. They don't creak, whistle, or rattle. Braking is soft and pleasant.

Michael. Ford Focus C-MAX, 2006. Yesterday I installed the second set of Ferodo FSL1594 pads. The first one took 35,000 km to replace. Driving style is non-aggressive. They brake well even under extreme braking. One drawback is that they creak in wet weather. I don’t know why exactly when it’s wet - maybe it’s the discs. When it's dry there's silence. Conclusion - for me, they are optimal in terms of price and quality.

Novel. Lada Priora. I bought Ferodo pads and came across a fake, there is no hologram, when you open the box, it immediately gives off some strange chemical smell to your nose, ran your finger over it, a mark was left on it. I started smoking forums, I realized that I was scammed, tomorrow I will go to the store to give them back, it’s good that I saved the receipt.

Ylik. Mercedes E200, 2002. Front brake pads Ferodo FSL1049. There are no complaints about the pads themselves, but with unknown discs the braking efficiency left much to be desired. Mileage before replacement is 18,000 km. Average level.

Ilia. Ford Mondeo 3, 2004. I installed Ferodo FSL 1425 and FSL 1885 , drove 20 thousand km, they whistle a little (I heard a faint squeak), the car slows down well, I don’t regret it. The feedback is generally positive.

Alexei. Ford Mondeo, 1996. Ferodo FSL 884. We covered almost 50 thousand km. I’m quite pleased with their quality and recommend them to everyone, although I’ve heard that now you can easily run into a fake.

Dmitriy. Ford Mondeo, 1998. FERODO FSL 884 pads BREMBO 09.5707.14 discs . Braking has become an order of magnitude better compared to what it was before (neither pads nor discs could be identified). there is no squeak. I didn't expect anything else from this combination. Great.

Mondeo. 1997. Front brake pads FSL 884 . What can I say about them - if I hadn’t gotten into a refusal position in the form of a price reduction of 40%, I would have regretted it. Braking after ATE is poor. Sometimes they make short squeaks (not particularly annoying, although I myself really don’t like squeaky pads). In general, they are positioned as a budget series. I still expected better...

Oleg. Ford Mondeo 2.0 1997. Front pads Ferodo FDB 884 (namely the FDB series) are the best I've ever tried. Braking is smooth and confident at any speed. But not without a fly in the ointment - some block began to squeak after 1.5 thousand km.

Ford Pilot. My feedback on use is positive, I often drive on the highway at a cruising speed of 120 km, sometimes I reach 140, so good braking is fundamentally important for me, these pads cope with it perfectly, and do not generate dust.

Lada Granta. Many people criticize the original Grant TIIR-295 pads, I drove them all the way through, then first installed the green Ferods, the impressions from them are unpleasant, they brake worse and whistle. After that, he will install the red ones, the creaking from them was like on the UAZ. I don't plan to use Ferodo anymore.

Subaru Outback. FDB1639. I put pads from Ferodo on the front, their article number is written down at the very beginning. There are no complaints about braking, but they generate a lot of dust, I have never had such “dusty” ones in all my time. A friend of mine, in addition to dusting, also creaks a little.

Ferodo brake discs reviews

Yakut. Honda CR-V Sport. On the advice of friends, I purchased a set of Ferodo front discs and pads. I have driven almost 10 thousand km, the feedback is only positive, they do not generate dust, do not creak, the disc does not rub, the braking is excellent. It's time to change the rear ones; I purchased a set of DDF 1608 discs and FDB4233 pads in advance. Advice: when purchasing, carefully inspect the box, there should be a seal with a hologram.

Vladimir. Daewoo Lanos. I bought myself a complete set of discs and pads from Ferodo, plus brake fluid from the same manufacturer. The impressions after several thousand kilometers are excellent, they brake well, do not make any extraneous noise, and at high speeds during sharp braking there is no hit in the pedal.

Stanislav. Renault Sandero. Ferodo DDF 1502 I installed Ferodo wheels and original pads from Renault, drove 12 thousand km on them so far, no complaints.

Nikolai. Lada Vesta. After 45 thousand km. mileage, it was decided to replace the brake consumables. I purchased FERODO FDB1617 pads (made in the Czech Republic) and FERODO DDF1201 wheels (made in China, although I bought them in the same place). They do their job 100%, the feedback is positive. The only fly in the ointment is that when driving through traffic jams in the heat there are squeaks at the end of braking, but for me this

Yuri. Hyundai Elantra. H2015V New wheels from Ferodo with internal ventilation were installed, after 5 thousand km. mileage began to beat when braking from 80 to 20 km, I didn’t think about the wheels, but in the end they turned out to be. Moreover, it was winter, how to overheat them at this time so that it would work is a mystery to me. We took them as a set with a friend, he has exactly the same problems. Almost everyone tells me they are fake, but I ordered them from AutoDoc, like all my consumables. I'll take them to a turner in the near future and see what can be done.

Victor. DDF1431. Land Rover Discovery. I installed a set of Ferodo brake discs and TWR pads. There are no complaints about the discs, but the pads began to creak terribly, it was too difficult to install new ones, and in the end, at a mileage of 5 thousand km. the creaking gradually disappeared. Next time I will buy pads and discs from the same manufacturer.

Renault Logan Ferodo DDF1096. I initially wanted to install wheels from Brembo, but after reading reviews about their fakes, I decided to take Ferodo. After unpacking the box, I realized that I was not mistaken, unlike Brembo, the kit comes with 4 screws for the drives, not two. The markings are clearly made with a laser, there are no crooked stamps. Now I haven’t ridden them that much, but I’ve already appreciated one moment: a pedestrian suddenly jumped out, I had to apply sharp braking, everyone in the cabin was hanging on their belts
