If there is no puller, then the nut must be completely unscrewed, and then using a hammer, begin to rock and tap the steering knuckle, gradually pulling the hinge part out of the knuckle. Now all that remains is to install the new tips in place, but before that you need to measure their length (relative to the old ones).
