The lower part of the puller rests against the pin itself, and when it is twisted, it is as if the tip is being squeezed out of the fist. If there is no puller, then the nut must be completely unscrewed, and then using a hammer, begin to rock and tap the steering knuckle, gradually pulling the hinge part out of the knuckle. As soon as the tip is removed from the fist, unscrew it from the rod, this completes the procedure.

Now all that remains is to install the new tips in place, but before that you need to measure their length (relative to the old ones). Based on the obtained dimensions of the tips, you should tighten or vice versa - loosen the nut fixing the tip on the steering rod. Otherwise, the process of installing new steering tips is absolutely identical to removing them: we repeat everything in the reverse order and tighten all the nuts.
